Basildon Boys and Girls is an established club that has been running for over 50 years.
The Club was founded as Basildon Boys Club by Robert Dodd in 1963 and later changed its name to incorporate the Girls Club.  We are an FA Charter Standard Club.

As a club, we pride ourselves on building the confidence of young individuals to help them enjoy the experiences that our club can provide. We provide sport to children of all ages and abilities, in a safe and friendly environment. We aim to provide a positive atmosphere along with age-appropriate coaching to a good standard to support long-term player development.  We would like all members of our club to enjoy playing sport and reach the great levels that we know they are capable of.

The club fosters a culture of fair play and friendship throughout all of its activities with an emphasis on promoting good behaviour and respect for others.  Showing Respect for coaches and officials, respect for teammates; and respect for our opponents in victory and defeat.

We are a friendly club and believe that every player deserves the opportunity to test themselves and the chance to progress while doing so.

All of our volunteers, coaches and managers are DBS checked.  Our coaches have undergone First Aid & Safeguardng training, they also hold a level 1 or 2 coaching qualification.

If you are interested in becoming a part of Basildon Boys and Girls Club, or have any questions for a member of our committee we would love to hear from you.   Please use the contact us link at the top of the page.

We have an on site cafe which is open most Saturday mornings during the football season and on a Sunday when there are home matches.  Why not pop in for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
